This doesn't quite have the size and weight of the monumental '05 but this is in the same league complexity-wise and will be capable of aging for 30 years with no trouble.

This too will need plenty of time to unwind, which I estimate at between 14 to 18 years.

Like the Latrici?res, this fantastic effort will best suit the patient as this is very unlikely to develop quickly. In short, this is a knockout.

There is a relatively sophisticated mouth feel to the medium-bodied flavors as the supporting tannins possess a fine-grain before terminating in a saline, deep and seriously long finish. This is a flat out fantastic villages and highly recommended.

There is both good volume and punch to the delicious, round and nicely intense medium-bodied flavors that brim with evident minerality, all wrapped in an ever-so-mildly edgy finish. While this hasn't quite reached its apogee in terms of the underlying tannins, there is that kind of aged burg sweetness that suggests that this is probably drinking about as well as it's likely to and thus I would suggest drinking it up over the next 5 years or so.

There is a purity and transparency that is beautiful to see as this is a textbook example of a fine Latrici?res, all wrapped in a dusty, linear and harmonious finish. This is unusually precise for the vintage and possesses excellent potential but note that this restrained example will likely not reveal all of its potential for at least a decade and more probably two.

This saline-infused beauty is textbook Latrici?res though it's also one that will require a long snooze in the cellar as the supporting tannins are fine but notably dense.

There is first-rate intensity to the beautifully well-detailed pungently mineral-driven medium weight plus flavors that possess fine mid-palate concentration before culminating in a refined, very firm and strikingly persistent finish that is a bit less overtly austere than usual. An elegant combination of power and finesse.

Somewhat toasty secondary aromas offer up plenty of spice, game and earth nuances where the latter can be found in abundance on the velvety and impressively dense big-bodied flavors that possess excellent volume and power, all wrapped in a mineral-driven and beauitfully long finish where the toast component telegraphed by the nose reappears. For my taste this is drinking as well now as it's going to even though it should easily be able to hold at this plateau for years to come.
