There is excellent concentration to the round, delicious and supple yet quite powerful broad-shouldered flavors that culminate in a refreshing and inviting if dusty and mildly austere finale. This is a dense 2008 in the context of what is typical for the vintage and a wine that is certainly not at its peak yet it's not so far away that it couldn't be enjoyed if given a thorough aeration first.
