I very much like the silky mouth feel, all wrapped in a sappy and explosive finish that oozes dry extract. This is really a stunning effort yet as punchy as it is, the overall impression is a wine of restraint and understatement though I would expect that to change as it ages. In a word, magnificent.

There is a saline character to the focused, indeed even linear finish that displays terrific cut. Like the Poruzots, this is slightly finer than usual.

The extract-rich flavors possess a silky texture before concluding in a cool, linear and strikingly persistent finish. This is really very stylish and worth considering.

Otherwise there is exceptionally good richness and impressive power to the mouth coating and seductively sappy medium-bodied flavors that deliver excellent length on the clean, dry and citrusy finish. This isn't as complex as it usually is at this early junction but I have had very good luck with it developing unusually good depth with bottle age and my rating offers the benefit of the doubt based on that track record.

This is really quite good and worth a look.
