This is a velvety wine and while there is good underlying structure, the tannins are presently completely buffered by the pinot baby fat.

The mouth coating and extract rich medium weight plus flavors possess excellent focus on the linear, deep and highly energetic finish. Worth considering.

In this case however the overtly spicy and floral-infused nose of ripe secondary aromas was entirely clean. There is fine intensity and richness to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that offer both excellent depth and persistence on the reasonably well-balanced finale as there is discreet touch of warmth. For my taste this isn't quite at its peak though it's sufficiently close as to easily be enjoyable now. In sum, this is an excellent Vosne villages.

The nicely rich, round and well-delineated medium-bodied flavors possess excellent focus and balance on the mouth coating finish. This is an excellent villages with very impressive depth. Recommended.

Fine quality here.

The supple, generous and broad-scaled flavors are blessed with copious amounts of dry extract which renders the supporting tannins less obvious on the mouth coating and impressively long finish. A first-rate Ech with a real sense of verve, particularly in the context of the 2009 vintage.

This is a muscular yet elegant Ech?zeaux that should reward 12 to 15 years or cellar time.
