There is plenty of personality and this very suave and velvety effort should be terrific in time.

There is excellent size, weight and mid-palate density to the large-bodied flavors are at once powerful yet elegant before culminating in a mouth coating, long and ever-so-mildly warm finish. This is a big and ripe but not top-heavy wine that is drinking perfectly well now and one that should continue to do so for at least another decade, perhaps even two. I would add that I have also enjoyed consistent notes.

This should age gracefully for years to come and will need at least a decade to arrive at its majority.

There is impressive richness and volume to the big-bodied and concentrated flavors that possess a lovely sense of underlying tension, all wrapped in a mildly austere but impressively long finish. This is still clearly on the way up but it's not so far away that it couldn't be enjoyed now. With that said, I would be inclined to cellar this for another 4 to 8 years. In a word, lovely.

There is superb richness to the opulent and mouth coating big-bodied flavors that possess positively buckets of extract, all wrapped in a hugely long and mildly toasty finish. This is not necessarily more complex than the Griotte though there is more underlying material so it may be in time.

There is a backend touch of wood that surfaces but there is sufficient concentration present that this should have no problem integrating it quickly. A very impressive villages that is well worth considering.
