There is fine concentration and power to the mouth coating and overtly muscular broad-shouldered flavors that possess impressive intensity on the exquisitely balanced and lingering finish. This is definitely Charmes in that there is a generous side to it but at the same time, there is a taut muscularity and overall, while delicious and easy to appreciate, it's also clear that this will require around 15 years to shed its considerable tannic spine.
