Lovely juice and a classic example of a fine Amoureuses.

This is quite classy and for my taste, it has reached its apogee.

The gorgeously textured, fresh, precise and ultra pure medium-bodied flavors are seemingly etched from limestone while delivering flat out stunning persistence. This is a Musigny of finesse as the balance and harmony are impeccable but even so this is still very much in its ascendency so at least another 10 years of patience will be required. As an aside I very much like the style and freshness here as the flavors just dance across the palate.

The full-bodied and generous broad-shouldered flavors possess a seductive mouth feel as there is superb dry extract which buffers the moderately firm tannins and coats the palate on the strikingly long finish. This is a wonderfully harmonious, indeed to the point that the word "Zen-like" comes to mind which will enable it to be approached young but as the extended drinking window recommendation suggests, the impeccable balance will enable this to live for decades.
