Medium gold color. The very fresh, ripe and expressive white orchard fruit aromas could be from nowhere else but Chablis as there is plenty of sea shore nuances. There is impressive richness and mid-palate density to the utterly delicious medium-bodied flavors that possess a lovely minerality before concluding in a dry, clean and impressively complex finale. This is a first-rate Chablis villages that is drinking perfectly now and should continue to do so.

Really good stuff here and worth your interest.

I very much like the balance and this has everything it needs to age successfully for years if desired. Terrific.

A largely mature, complex and classic Chablis nose is comprised by notes of green fruit, citrus rind, sea shore and iodine scents that are trimmed in a waxy character. There is excellent concentration to the still nicely intense flavors that are at once fleshy yet delineated and are followed by a notably saline-infused finish that delivers excellent length and solid if not sensational complexity. For my taste, this has arrived at its peak though it should hold there for at least another decade. Tasted thrice since release with consistent results.

The silky yet entirely serious medium-bodied flavors exhibit plenty of minerality on the citrusy and hugely long finish that is clean, dry, long and balanced. This highly impressive effort should reward up to a decade of cellar time though drink well before that if desired.

The powerful medium-bodied flavors exude plenty of dry extract that confers a sappy texture upon the strikingly complex mid-palate though the saline suffused cuts-like-a-knife finish is chiseled, explosive and massively long. This is textbook Les Clos with size, power and explosive energy and offers a remarkable contrast to the Zen-like Preuses where its harmony and understatement are its primary strengths. One can admire both, but either way, they are impressive as hell.

There is excellent size, weight and energy to the overtly powerful and well-concentrated flavors that exude a fine minerality on the extract rich, clean and attractively dry finish. This is borderline aggressively saline and while it could certainly be enjoyed now, there is at least a few years of upside development remaining. In sum, this is an excellent effort in the context of the vintage.

There is excellent power and punch to the intensely mineral-driven medium weight flavors that do a slow build into an amazing crescendo on the bone dry and explosive finale. A classically styled and proportioned Les Clos.

The intense, powerful and sleekly muscular big-bodied flavors possess excellent volume and mid-palate concentration before terminating in a long, crisp and very dry finish. This is really quite good and particularly so for the vintage though I would definitely advise at least some continued patience as this remains fairly tightly wound.
