The structure is more of a background element at present because of all the mid-palate sap but this will be a long-distance runner. Highly recommended.

Otherwise, the big, powerful and forceful middle weight plus flavors possess buckets of dry extract that coat the palate on the explosively long and almost painfully intense finish. This is a striking effort that will require plenty of cellar time before it peaks.

This fabulous effort has the overall balance and underlying material to improve for the next 20 years. In a word, brilliant.
