The structure is more of a background element at present because of all the mid-palate sap but this will be a long-distance runner. Highly recommended.

This is a striking effort that will require plenty of cellar time before it peaks.

This fabulous effort has the overall balance and underlying material to improve for the next 20 years. In a word, brilliant.

There is equally good purity to the rich, intense and remarkably vibrant flavors that possess excellent volume along with an abundance of dry extract that confers a velvety texture to the linear, well-balanced and moderately austere finish. It is a very good thing that there is so much sap because this is especially firmly structured and will need every bit of 20+ years in this format to fully resolved the prominent underlying tannins.

There is excellent volume and phenolic maturity to the underlying structural elements that shape and support the relatively large-scaled flavors that culminate in a driving finish that delivers flat out phenomenal length. Note that that this beauty is a good choice only for the very, very patient among you as it's built for the very long-term.

This will also require time yet also be reasonably accessible young if desired.

I very much like the seductive texture of the big-bodied flavors that aren't quite as dense or structured as those of the Suchots but they're notably finer, all wrapped in a dusty, palate coating and gorgeously long finish. Excellent.
