The velvety medium-bodied flavors are both sleeker and blessed with plenty of dry extract that coats the mouth and buffers the notably firm tannins on the beautifully long and stony finish. There is good size and weight to the tautly muscular and solidly powerful larger-bodied flavors that exude a discreet minerality on the impressively long and well-balanced finale. This is clearly built-to-age and a wine that's going to need at least some forbearance.
