Despite the muscular aspect, this is essentially an elegant wine that is more in the vein of a gymnast than a weight lifter.

The stony character can also be found in abundance on the highly energetic, chiseled and saline yet attractively rich medium-bodied flavors that deliver outstanding length on the dusty and mildly austere but very well-balanced finale. This is terrific but note well that patience will be required.
