This is a big but not clumsy effort that will need all of 12 to 15 years to shed its considerable tannic shell.

Villages level wines do not often get much better.

I very much like the depth and while the structural elements are certainly firm, there is a sufficiency of extract to buffer them.

There is outstanding richness to the powerful, concentrated and overtly muscular broad-scaled flavors that possess very impressive persistence. This brooding but very promising effort is quite compact at present and will need time to flesh out.
