Tasting note: This is one of the few wines in the range to display any wood treatment and even here it's subtle as it easily allows the markedly spicy aromas of exotic tea, violet, rose petal and ripe red currant scents to be appreciated. The mouthfeel of the acceptably concentrated flavors is wonderfully refined, indeed the word silky comes to mind, while retaining fine delineation and minerality on the youthfully austere and lingering finale. This could use better overall depth but then again that's why we have cellars.
