Sweet spot Outstanding
Tasting note: A spicy and notably ripe nose offers up notes of plum, cassis and blackberry while allowing subtle nuances of warm earth to surface. The complex and velvety medium weight flavors possess fine phenolic ripeness though there is so much dry extract that the structural elements are presently relegated to the background. This is a powerful, masculine and focused wine that is very Nuits in character yet avoids any sense of rusticity on the hugely long finish. In a word, terrific.
