Tasting note: Just as it was when I originally reviewed it from bottle (see herein) this remains quite floral with ample wood and fresh Asian style spice notes present on the mostly dark berry fruit liqueur, kirsch and earth-suffused nose. There is excellent punch to the big, rich and sleekly muscular middle weight plus flavors that possess excellent concentration before culminating in a driving and wonderfully persistent finish. This is a robust Malconsorts that is still very much a baby and while I wouldn't recommend opening a bottle at this early juncture, if you are tempted then allow it at least an hour in a large-bottomed decanter.
