Tasting note: A cool, complex and pure nose juxtaposes notes of classic sauvage aromas along with unusually elegant plum, dark berry fruit and earth nuances. There is impressive intensity to the mineral-inflected medium weight plus flavors that are shaped by notably ripe tannins and outstanding length on the explosive finish. In short, this is a balanced and gifted Chambertin that will require at least 15 years of cellar time to realize its full potential.
