Tasting note: Here the nose is more deeply pitched with a beautifully well-layered nose of violets, plum, earth and soft spice nuances. The earth character continues onto the sleekly muscular and velvet-textured middle weight plus flavors that exude a fine minerality on the palate coating, balanced and strikingly persistent finish where a note of youthful austerity surfaces. Note that this is not super complex at present but the underlying material is so good that my score assumes that more is in the offing over time.
