Tasting note: An ultra-elegant and pure nose plays right on the edge of reduction though aggressive swirling eventually liberates airy and cool notes of essence of red berries, floral elements and subtle spice nuances. There is a wonderfully refined mouth feel to the strikingly well-delineated and mineral-driven middle weight flavors that culminate in a mildly austere, balanced and beautifully persistent finish. This lilting and lacy effort is very Chambolle in basic character.
