Tasting note: Once again there is just enough wood present to remark upon on the essence of pear, apple, citrus and floral-inflected aromas. There is both solid density and verve to the rich but beautifully well-detailed medium weight flavors that possess a firm but not hard, aggressive or austere acid spine, all wrapped in a sappy and palate coating finale. This is a terrific Puligny villages and if it can continue to add depth my rating may very well prove to be overly conservative. In sum, lovely juice with fine development potential.
