Tasting note: There is just enough wood to merit mentioning sitting atop the floral, essence of pear, spice and a whiff of citrus influence. As is usually the case, the mouth feel of the medium weight flavors is sleeker and finer if not quite as expansive or powerful, all wrapped in a delicious, sappy and lingering finish that delivers fine length if not necessarily superior depth. This is better balanced and while there is touch of bitter citrus zest on the finale, it's decidedly more subtle.
