Tasting note: There is a discreet but not invisible whiff of brett sitting atop the otherwise pretty and spicy mix of primary and secondary red berry fruit scents. There is good volume to the round, delicious and attractively textured middle weight flavors that possess good if not special depth on the otherwise lingering and balanced finish. For my taste this is drinking well now though it will certainly hold for up to another decade. Note that my score offers the benefit of the doubt that the brett displayed by the nose will remain at such a low level that is unlikely to unduly bother most tasters.
