Tasting note: The well-layered and dense nose is displaying moderate evolution as the red berry scents enjoy additional nuances of anise, earth, underbrush, violets and a whiff of leather. There is very good volume to the large-scaled and dense yet quite supple flavors that possess excellent length on the linear, mildly austere and focused finale where a touch of crushed leaf character emerges. I very much like the texture and taut muscularity and overall, this is still on the way up though not so far away from its peak that it couldn't be enjoyed now.
