Tasting note: A still mildly toasty nose features remarkably dense yet elegant aromas of deeply pitched yet extremely cool and restrained red and blue fruit aromas that are nuanced by a broad range of earth, game and underbrush hints. There is an utterly beguiling purity to the relatively refined but muscular medium full-bodied plus flavors that are strikingly complex, vibrant and perfectly balanced before culminating in a gorgeously long finish. While not quite at its peak, it's not so far away that it couldn't be enjoyed now though with that said, I would suggest holding for another 2 to perhaps 5 years. In a word, magnificent. Tasted four times over the last 5 years with consistent notes.
