Tasting note: (bottled under the Domaine & S?lection label). A ripe and mature yet agreeably fresh nose speaks mostly of secondary fruit, floral and discreet spice and oak wisps. There is excellent mid-palate density and verve to the intense and envelopping middle weight plus flavors that flash good mineralitly on the balanced, clean, highly complex and impressively long finish. Coche has a well-deserved reputation for crafting superb villages level wines and this '08 will only add to it. I would add that for my taste, this has arrived at its peak but should have no trouble holding here for at least another decade.
