Tasting note: The first bottle was corked. The second possessed a surprisingly advanced color yet the aromas are quite fresh with a picture perfect Meursault nose that is beginning to turn secondary in character with notes of apricot, honey, dried flowers and grilled almond. There is good power to the nicely powerful and succulent flavors that go on and on. This is really very good, particularly for its level and while it's not the most complex wine among the vintages tasted, it is wonderfully harmonious and complete. For my taste this is drinking perfectly now with no upside development potential remaining.
