Tasting note: A slightly cooler yet still very ripe nose that is also slightly oaky sets off spicy dark berry fruit aromas and floral notes that continue onto the mineral, powerful and well-muscled broad-shouldered flavors that possess another dimension of depth and length on the textured, sappy and palate staining finish. This enjoys the best phenolic maturity of the group and will require every bit of a decade to reach its full potential.
