Tasting note: A similar if somewhat more deeply pitched and riper nose complements the rich, full-bodied and tautly muscular flavors that are blessed with an abundance of palate coating dry extract before culminating in a tension-filled finish. There is a backend touch of wood that surfaces but there is sufficient concentration present that this should have no problem integrating it quickly. A very impressive villages that is well worth considering.
