Tasting note: A deeper and more serious nose with more obvious earth and game notes on the red and dark berry fruit aromas that display hints of underbrush and iron that can also be found on the delicious, round and distinctly more masculine and powerful flavors that are punchy, long and while not rustic, certainly more robust than those of the Clos St. Denis. I quite like this and the amount of dry extract is impressive.
