Outstanding
Tasting note: Reduction completely dominates the nose but it does not extend to the rich, round and relatively suave middle weight flavors that enjoy fine mid-palate concentration. There is excellent volume with really lovely delineation as well as a real sense of underlying tension on the lightly mineral-inflected, dusty, sappy and superbly long finish. This beauty is very Gevrey but not rustic.
