Tasting note: As it did from cask the nose is partially compromised by the presence of noticeable reduction so be sure to decant this. By contrast, there is excellent vibrancy and punch to the intensely mineral-inflected medium weight flavors that possess fine delineation and a lovely sense of underlying tension on the complex, persistent and palate staining finish. This is really quite impressive and worth considering.
