Tasting note: An unusually expressive nose features notes of both red and dark berry fruit and plenty of spice aromas that are attractively fresh and pure. There is equally good purity to the delicious, round and notably supple middle weight flavors that possess good detail and punch before tightening up on the balanced and lingering finish. This is a wine of finesse and class that should age well and if it can add depth over the next 8 to 10 years my score may ultimately prove to be too conservative.
