Sweet spot Outstanding
Tasting note: A superbly well-layered nose features fruit aromas that are just as much blue as red in character along with floral and spice hints plus an abundance of the classic and pungent wet stone nuances of a fine Lavaut. The suave and silky middle weight flavors also exude plenty of mineral influence before concluding in a vibrant and very firm finish where the supporting fine grained tannins are clearly quite ripe. This is a terrific effort though indisputably a wine for the patient.
