Tasting note: A deft touch of wood surrounds the elegant, high-toned, pure and well-layered aromas that of both red and blue fruit, wet stone, herbal tea and dried floral hints. There is a striking vibrancy and intensity to the firmly mineral-driven medium weight flavors that possess very fine depth on the lingering and linear finish. This is not a generously proportioned wine but the intrinsic class and finesse of a fine CSJ are in evidence, which will permit it to be enjoyed now but also to continue cellaring it over the short to medium-term. Tasted several times in the past few years with consistent notes.
