Tasting note: A ripe, airy and elegant nose features notes of sea breeze, mineral reduction, citrus and various white orchard fruit and floral nuances. There is reasonably good energy to the delicious, nicely intense and caressing middle weight flavors that possess an attractive mineral note before culminating in a clean, moderately dry and solidly persistent finish. This is a classic Chapelot, which is to say a round and graceful wine that is already drinking well though for my taste, I would be inclined to hold it for a few more years first to allow more depth to develop. Tasted twice this year with almost identical notes.
