Tasting note: Moderate wood influence frames the intensely floral and quite spicy nose of mostly red berry fruit aromas. There is a sophisticated mouth feel to the supple yet well-detailed middle weight flavors that exude sappy dry extract on the gorgeously complex, persistent and utterly delicious finish that presently displays a touch of youthful asperity. This may very well come together in time though in this large format that is difficult to predict with certainty.
