Tasting note: A fresh but reserved and rather somber nose of clean red berry fruit and earth aromas is trimmed in a discreet application of oak that leads to crisp, detailed, tautly muscled and precise flavors that also possess a slight finishing edginess though excellent complexity. I very much like the underlying sense of relief and tension and I suspect that this will round out in time as there is a lot of gas at present.
