Tasting note: (with thanks to Chris Sliney). This is aging beautifully and is still moderately youthful with its maturing and elegant m?lange of softly oaked red and blue pinot fruit aromas nuanced by hints of violets and earth. There is fine richness to the full-bodied flavors that possess a natural sweetness that becomes more apparent on the sneaky long, balanced and only lightly austere finale. This is lovely and while it's largely mature, another 3 to 5 years of keeping wouldn't hurt.
