Tasting note: Here there is only a trace of reduction along with pretty and layered aromas of citrus and both white and yellow orchard fruit aromas, particularly pear and peach, that marry into delicious, intense and relatively generous yet what I especially like about this wine is that it retains good precision and vibrancy, along with terrific finishing complexity. It doesn't happen very often but in 2008, the Vergers is in the league of the Caillerets and the Ruchottes. Buy it.
