Tasting note: A pungent nose of reduction and oak leads to round, delicious and moderately well-concentrated medium-bodied flavors that possess a caressing mouth feel before terminating in a lingering finish where the wood telegraphed by the nose resurfaces. While discreet there is a hint of warmth though it's sufficiently subtle that if the wine is served reasonably well-chilled it shouldn't really be noticeable. This should drink well young but offer several years of upside development potential as well.
