Tasting note: (from several bottles opened by the domaine at the occasion of its 300th anniversary dinner). This changed noticeably as it sat in the glass and even seemed to freshen with its ripe but not really exotic nose of petrol, pear compote and soft whiffs of wood. There is impressive density to the round and relatively powerful medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract before culminating in a delicious and sneaky long finish. For my taste this is drinking perfectly well now though I underscore that it should continue to drink well for years to come.
