Sweet spot
Tasting note: Once again there is just enough wood present to warrant remarking upon but not so much as to impede the appreciation of the spicy plum, dark cherry and softly gamy nose. There is excellent volume and mid-palate density to the powerful and seductively rich flavors that retain a good sense of delineation before culminating in a sleekly muscular finish that delivers both excellent depth and length. Good stuff.
