Tasting note: (with thanks to Dr. Reed Day). This is presently notably less expressive than it was when originally reviewed in 2010 though the depth and layering of the ripe and still exceptionally fresh orchard fruit aromas remain. There is excellent size, weight and richness to the solidly well-concentration and powerful flavors that really coat the mouth on the impressively well-balanced and persistent finish. The richness and concentration actually allow this to be appreciated now though there is so much unrealized potential that I would continue to allow this to slumber for another 3 to 5 years first. Excellent. Tasted twice recently with consistent results.
