Tasting note: Here the nose is fresher and with better wood integration as well on the airy green apple, white flower and pear-suffused nose. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the detailed and attractively rich full-bodied flavors that possess ample dry extract that buffers the moderately firm acid spine on the agreeably dry finish. This opulent effort is a wine of power and punch and while not exactly classic it is more typical than the Puligny.
